Chronic Wounds
A chronic wound is one that does not heal with conventional therapy within 3 weeks of injury. Most chronic wounds are the result of an underlying medical problem which prevents the wound from healing. At Summit Medical Center, we operate an advanced wound care center with a team of physicians and nurses dedicated to wound care and promoting healing for all ages and all types of wounds. We coordinate with your other healthcare providers to create an interdisciplinary team focused on your healing.

- Brown Recluse Spider Bite
- Idiopathic Sudden Sensorineural Hearing Loss (ISSNHL)

Summit Wound Care and Hyperbaric Center is part of a Medicare accredited facility. Because of this, we uphold the high standards established in NFPA 99 Chapter 14 and 20 for HBO safety. Because we treat at a therapeutic depth of 2.0 ATA or 2.4 ATA (deeper than other cash pay options in the area), prior to beginning HBO, an EKG and chest X-ray are required to ensure each patient’s heart and lungs are in good condition.
We uphold the same high standards for administration of HBO for our cash pay patients. If you are interested in visiting with a Hyperbaric physician about treatment, call to schedule an HBO consultation with a Certified Hyperbaric Technologist, Registered Nurse and HBO physician.

At Summit Medical Center laboratory, we are a CLIA-licensed facility offering complex medical testing for both inpatient and outpatient clients. Rely on us for dependable services in a trustworthy environment. We offer laboratory services that are available around the clock for our inpatient guests & convenient outpatient walk-in hours from 6am to 5pm, Monday through Friday.
