Careers at Summit Medical Center
Join the Family
We All Know Working in Healthcare Can Be Tough.
All across the world, there are shortages of healthcare workers, as many burn out and leave the profession. Trust us, at Summit Medical Center, we understand.
That’s precisely why it’s different here. How so?
Quarterly Profit Sharing
Every fiscal quarter, each of our employees receives a share of the profits. This is not only a nice bonus on your check, but a real incentive for all of us to work together towards better results.
A Caring Environment
We don’t just say we care about our people – we truly do. Our family cares for yours. Not a single person at Summit Medical Center was laid off during the pandemic. Likewise, we counter burnout with a family environment, a team approach to filling shifts for each other, and a focus on work/life balance.
Management That Listens
As a physician-owned hospital, physicians work in tandem with nursing staff, keeping patient experience and outcomes top of mind at all times. That means management wants to hear from the team about how things can improve – and they listen, via the Employee Satisfaction Committee, annual employee surveys and anonymous comment boxes placed throughout the facility.
Retention Speaks for Itself
Nearly all of our nurses have been here an average of 8.5 or more years. If you’ve been in this business a while, you know how uncommon that is – and it’s a clear illustration of how much people love working here.
A Team That Wants to See You Succeed
We are proud people who believe in what we’re doing, and want to see you progress and grow in your career too. That’s why we give you all the resources you need to succeed.
Competitive Pay & Benefits
In addition to compensation on par or better than most other facilities, Summit also covers 80% of your health insurance cost, offers $50,000 life insurance policies, short-term disability, dental, vision, long-term disability and more.
